How to Create a Snapchat Account Without a Phone Number (2026 Guide)

Many users want to create a Snapchat account without a phone number to protect their privacy or avoid sharing their personal mobile number during registration. Whether you're creating a personal profile, managing a business presence, or simply want to keep your private number confidential, using a virtual phone number can be a practical option for supported verification scenarios.

Snapchat allows users to sign up using an email address. However, depending on your account activity, device, location, or Snapchat's security checks, the platform may request phone verification before allowing access to certain features. If phone verification is required and supported, a virtual phone number can help you receive the SMS verification code without exposing your personal mobile number.
